I think I might be a freak - some kind of a mongrel or half-blood at best.

Let me explain.

Science suggests that we, (humans) are either left or right brain bias. That means that we are either about creativity, imagination, visualisation, holistisity, intuition and insight or we are driven by logic, reasoning, objectivity, and data.

I find myself firmly in the middle. Part interrogator, interpreter, translator, visualizer and visionary. See, told you I was a freak.

How the hell did that happen?

30 years within agencies working with other freaks that are emotional, passionate, creative types, working for businesses that aren’t. Demanding commercial, pragmatic and effective answers. I think it is fair to say it has given me a unique perspective and insight.

I am direct, challenging, provocative, passionate, driven, pragmatic, hands-on and in pursuit of perfection. In fairness I am a bit “marmite’

Brands facing continual disruption on all fronts including real-world challenges around skills, infrastructure, bandwidth and budget. But the need for agility and expertise on all fronts has never been greater.

A marketing landscape with an eco-system that is changing beyond recognition and will continue to do so in ways we are yet to imagine, at a pace few can keep up with.

The traditional role, responsibilities and relationship between agency and client evolving, with no one model prevailing. What works for one doesn’t for another.
